Yummmey food and recipes most of you will be thinking as the sound of it Del-icio-us, just what i thought when i heard it first. But we are mistaken.. Del-icio-us ( i like the way it is spelt)is a "social bookmarking site" ( daz what they call it) it allows you to create bookmarks of various things and share it with other people. So what Del-icio-us does is it keep tracks of all the web pages that i have tagged...and it automatically put em together for easy access. For example if i find some interesting movie clip or intersting recipes or anything that catch my eyes.. i can tag it and will be placed it into my interest collection.
Anyway i have created an account with them http://delicious.com/malluchick89. So check it out sometime.. i will be doing the tagging whenever i c something interesting.

Social Networking sites: I lourrrrrrrve Facebooooook.

i started off this week's blog with great enthusiasm thinking how great it would be to browse through my favourite social networking sites such as bebo, facebook, orkut, hi5 and many more thinking best way to procrastinate. But looks like the council is not letting me into any of them. Like many other youngsters i too have an account with most of the social networking sites but i dont get much time to maintain all of them. so at the moment im trying to maintain bebo, facebook and orkut. & yay i wud love to talk about it.. they are awwsum sites and it helps you make new friends, be in touch with your friends of all times through commenting/scrapping though sometimes you find some people use these to pass on gossips/rumours. it also allows you to personalize your profile, add photos, play games with your friends and many many other features.

Wikis

ohhhhk Wikis now.. well i'd say its quite a good search tool.. u can search almost anything on wikis and it will come up with quite a lot of relevant and useful information. However a mjaor drawback with wikis are the reliability of the information. how reliable are the information.? as most of the information contained in it is written by vast number of readers and it is continoudly edited by readers. So we cannot completely rely on the information provided in wikis as some of them are controversial. But generally speaking it quite a helpful tool which is offered to the world at large and it gives quite a fair and balanced information. With all my research assignments i normally start off searching at wiki and i gather info that i think sounds true and relevant. But i dont completely rely on just wiki.. i normally go and do a wide search on books and other sites to make sure the info i got is accurate.
